Hull Blacking & 2 Pack Epoxy

Hull Blacking is the traditional way of protecting the hull from corrosion, and extending the life of your boat. The place where it’s most vulnerable is just around the water line.  The traditional paint treatment is a black bitumen-based paint which typically has to be repainted every two years.  2 Pack Epoxy will last for up to 10 years.  If the hull has already been painted with bitumen, it will have to be shot blasted back to bare metal.  The 2-pack may either be black, or you can choose from a range of colours.  All our hull blacking and 2 pack epoxy work is undertaken at our Middlewich Slipway.  This is an example of 2 pack epoxy in black.
